I'll admit, I was a bit a little apprehensive. Wreck diving is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** were incredible. The Divemasters gave us a very thorough safety briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the story of the wreck, and what to expect below. The fact we were in a small group immediately made me feel safe.

Descending was unforgettable. At first, it was just a shadow in the distance, then suddenly it came into view. It is enormous. The ship is now a thriving new home, draped in soft corals and swarming with marine life. I spotted big groupers peeking from the cargo hold, and lionfish hiding in the cracks. That feeling of swimming alongside this silent, ghostly vessel was hard to describe—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It's a time capsule under the water.

For any an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and looking for something more the standard reef, I cannot recommend this **Con Dao check here wreck dive** enough.
